Interest rates lately? Let’s just say they’ve been moodier than a teenager without Wi-Fi. The good news: rates have started to soften, which means buyers are poking their heads back into open houses again. If you’re waiting for rates to hit rock bottom… newsflash, no one has a crystal ball. But locking in now with a slightly higher rate and refinancing later beats losing out on the home you really want. In short: marry the house, date the rate. (And yes, it’s the only time I’ll tell you to date a rate!)
